The 2020 Decatur Craft Beer Festival will be Saturday, August 29 from 1-6 pm on N. Water Street outside the DAAC. We'll have unique craft beers & ciders, local breweries from across the state, live music and food trucks.

--- Saturday Main Event ---
Festival tickets are $30 and include admission to the event, 8 tasting tickets, a souvenir glass, live music and access to the on-site food trucks. There is also a $10 Designated Driver option (Saturday only) for our non-beer-drinking guests.

--- Friday VIP Event --- Doors open at 6:45 pm
A VIP event will be held on Friday, August 28 from 7-10pm inside the DAAC. At the VIP event, you will find rare and hard to find beers and ciders not available at the festival, delicious hors d'oeuvres, entrance into Saturday's festival, extra tasting tickets, souvenir glass and MORE! VIP Tickets are $100 each.

On March 22nd we are releasing our Imperial Stout called Nexus Of The Universe!

To coincide with the release we are holding the 1st Annual Nexus Fest! The event will be at Decatur Brew Works from 12 to 3 PM. The majority of our taps will be converted to Stouts (and other high gravity beers like barleywines). So far we have the following beers lined up:

Cost is $20 in advance ($25 day of) and includes entrance into the festival, a festival glass, four 5 ounce pours and all the chili you can eat!

In addition to the stout fest, we are also having a chili cook off. All festival goers will have an opportunity to try and vote on their favorite chili. Additional tasting tickets can be purchased during the event.

If you are interested in participating in the chili cook off, there will be a sign up sheet at the brewery, along with a details about the parameters of the competition. There will be a fan favorite that will be determined by festival goers and a judges choice. Awards will go to the winners.

Tickets for the festival go on sale March 3rd at the brewery. There are only 100 tickets, so get yours as soon as you can. If you’re coming from out of town and can’t get in to purchase tickets, give us a call during regular business hours and we’ll hold them until the day of.

Even though it may not feel like it, spring is getting close. What better way to get through the winters blues than a little beer and little yoga?

Stop by the brewery on March 21st at 10:30 AM for an hour of instructor led yoga with Chuck Beck. Stick around afterward for a pint or flight.

Yoga is for beginners and novices alike. So grab a friend and a yoga mat and stop in!

$15 for an hour of yoga and a flight/pint.

It's just about the third Wednesday of the month, folks! That means it's time for the Decatur Old Time jam!

Bring an instrument and play some fiddle tunes with us! Or a string band song or two!

Stop by on St. Patrick's Day for a little Irish Fare! We'll have a St. Patrick's Day Potluck to go along with some amazing music from Celtic Whistle.

Starting at 5, we'll lay out the corned beef and cabbage, potatoes, etc...Bring a dish to share, or just dive in! Need a green beer? We can probably accommodate that.

Leap Day - a day so awesome it comes around once every 4 years.

The guys at Delta Tappa Kegga are throwing a party in honor of Leap Day. This year's theme: The 80's!

We encourage you to come dressed up in your favorite 80's gear: throw on a toga, find your fanny pack, brush off your shoulder pads and get ready to party!

- The first 100 guests after 6 PM will get a reusable red "party" cup to drink beer out of all night - kegger style.

- Decade appropriate sunglasses will be provided (while supplies last)

- 80's music all night long

- NES Lounge with a bunch of your favorite games available to play for the night

- Gotta tap a keg. So we'll have a special beer release that night as well

Its that time of year when Girl Scout Cookies start popping up. What better way to enjoy them than with beer?!

Stop by on February 22nd from 3-5 to try a beer and cookie sampling. We will have select beers paired with your favorite Girl Scout Cookies. This years cookies will be Do-Si-Dos, Lemonades, Thin Mints and Samoas.

Our very own girl scout will be on hand to sell you a box of your favorite variety (no pressure to buy). And we can send you home with a growler of beer to keep the pairings going well into the night.
